Physical Properties of Pulp and Paper: A Comparison of Forming Procedures

Abstract In this work, we used the conventional wet papermaking process and solution casting procedure to make paper sheets optimized relative content of eucalyptus Simao pine pulps using mechanical properties sheet as evaluation index. The chemical composition, water retention value, zeta potential, carboxyl content, drainage behavior pulp created optimal mass ratio for each method were measured, resulting characterized via Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms.
